Thank You All Who Attended Advocacy Day
March 4th and Made it a Success!

Thank you to all who attended Advocacy Day, making it an outstanding success. With over 725 Towns, Counties, and Affiliate Representatives in attendance! A special thank you goes to Assemblyman Magnarelli for hosting the press conference and providing a platform for our voices to be heard. The press conference was a pivotal moment, allowing us to report on the critical issues our communities face and the urgent funding requests that can make a significant impact in our communities. We were proud to have had our President, Bill Geary, represent the NYSCHSA with remarks that promoted the significance of our funding requests.  As Bill emphasized, "LOCAL ROADS ARE ESSENTIAL!" rings true in every neighborhood and town, and your presence at Advocacy Day reinforces the strength of our needs. Together, we can continue to make an impact and ensure that the necessary resources are available to keep our roads safe and well-maintained.  LET'S GET TO WORK, our work is not done!  Stay tuned for more information on how to keep the momentum going!

NYSCHSA President, Bill Geary and NYSAOTSOH President, Jamie Dussing participated in the NYS Joint Budget Hearings February 3rd on the 2026-2027 Executive Budget for Transportation.
