Governor Cuomo and Legislative Leaders Appoint Members of NY Works Task Force  
On May 3, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and Legislative leaders announced the  membership of the NY Works Task Force, consisting of finance, labor,  planning, and transportation professionals charged with coordinating a  statewide infrastructure plan with the goal of effectively and  strategically allocating New York's capital investment funding and  creating thousands of jobs.

Tappan Zee Bridge: Agenda Hints at Toll Hike. Thruway to Review its Financial Needs

An item that would have authorized the New York State Thruway  Authority's executive director "to prepare for toll rate adjustments"  was quietly removed from its board's agenda without explanation last  week after inquiries from Gannett's Albany Bureau.
