2022 Summer Conference Registration & Costs

Join us for NYSCHSA's Summer Conference, being held in the beautiful Thousand Islands on August 28-30, 2022 at the Harbor Hotel in Clayton. We have a wonderful program planned, with educational and networking sessions that will appeal to all Superintendents and Commissioners working to improve their county highway department and services. We will also be offering accredited Professional Development Hour (PDH) Programs, complimentary to our membership as part of conference registration.   

IMPORTANT UPDATE TO THE NYSCHSA COMMUNITY:  Starting with this Summer Conference, NYSCHSA will no longer have package rates. There will be a conference registration rate that will cover an attendee's event fee, food, continuing education credits, and materials. Attendees will then make their own hotel reservations based on their plans. The 2022 Summer Conference Registration Rates, associate costs, and hotel accommodation rates can be found below.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION RATES

NYSCHSA Regular Member Rates
Early Bird (Before 7/31) - $275.00
Regular (After 7/31) - $325.00
Spouse/Guest - $150.00
Fully Retired Superintendents/Commissioners - $50.00 Fee + $150.00 Food = $200.00
 (Not working for an Affiliate)
Fully Retired Lifetime/Honorary Members - $0.00 Fee + $150.00 Food = $150.00

Non-Member Rates
Early Bird (Before 7/31) - $300.00
Regular (After 7/31) - $350.00

CE Fees
NYSCHSA Members - Fee included with conference registration.
Non-Members - $25.00 per Professional Development Hour (PDH) 

Conference Activity Fees
Golf Tournament - Afternoon of Monday, August 29, 2022
Registered Conference Attendee - $50.00
Non-Registered Conference Attendee - $100.00

River Excursion/Cruise - Afternoon of Monday, August 29, 2022
No Fee. First Come-First Served. Must register for this outing.
Cruise limited to 42 passengers.

HOTEL / ACCOMMODATION RATES

Single per Person: $272.00 (plus tax)
Double per Person $272.00 (plus tax)

The hotel is also offering Pre-Post rates for those who would like to come in a day earlier or stay a day later.
Saturday: $375.00 (plus tax)
Tuesday: $272.00 (plus tax) 

Tax Exempt Forms: Must be provided to the hotel in advance of registration. Forms can be faxed to the hotel at: (315) 686-1101.

Reservation Due Date: Thursday, July 28, 2022 - So make your reservations ASAP!

CONFERENCE CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations must be made in writing and received by the NYSCHSA Office according to the following schedule:

  • Cancellations received on or before 7/30/22 will receive a 100% refund.
  • Cancellations received on or before 7/31/22 - 8/6/22 will receive a 75% refund.
  • Cancellations received on or before 8/7/22 - 8/13/22 will receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations received on or before 8/14/22 - 8/20/22 will receive a 25% refund.
  • Cancellations received after 8/21/22 will receive NO refund.

There will be no credits issued for no shows or early departures. Participants are otherwise responsible for all charges outlined in the registration form submitted to the NYSCHSA Office.
