Officials Tell State: We Need Mandate Relief Now

Steps taken this year by Gov. Andrew Cuomo  and the State Legislature to control state spending will benefit county  budgets at some point beyond 2013, but mandated expenses placed on  counties by Albany need to be lessened now.The was the message the  chairman of the Genesee County Legislature delivered at Monday's rally  in front of the Old County Courthouse in Batavia.
